28:20. “मग तुम्हांला पुढील कथा समजेल. एक माणूस त्याच्या उंचीच्या मानाने खूपच आखूड असलेल्या अंथरूणावर झोपायचा प्रयत्न करत होता. त्याचे पांघरूणसुध्दा त्याला पूर्ण पणे पांघरता येईल इतपत रूंद नव्हते. त्याचे अंथरूण आणि पांघरूण दोन्ही निरूपयोगी होती. अगदी त्याप्रमाणे तुमचे करार निरूपयोगी ठरलेले आहेत.”

28:20. For the bed is too short to stretch out on, and the blanket is too narrow to wrap around oneself.

28:20. The bed you have made is too short to lie on. The blankets are too narrow to cover you.

28:20. For the bed is shorter than that a man can stretch himself on it; and the covering narrower than that he can wrap himself in it.
