2:14. परमेश्वराचा इस्राएल लोकांवर कोप झाल्यामुळे त्यांच्यावर शत्रू चाल करुन येऊ लागला व त्यांना लुटू लागला. भोवताली राहणाऱ्या शत्रूंकडून ते पराभूत होऊ लागले. इस्राएल लोकांना शत्रूपासून आपले रक्षण करता येईना.

2:14. The LORD was furious with Israel and handed them over to robbers who plundered them. He turned them over to their enemies who lived around them. They could not withstand their enemies' attacks.
